Thiakry / Degue is an irresistible West African dessert of steamed millet and slightly sweetened yogurt. It can be a dessert, snack or breakfast food. Served separately, the extras, include: raisins, almonds and coconut that you can add to your thiakry before eating (extras not in photo). This dish comes in pint and quart containers so they don't spill in transit.
Ingredients--steamed millet, and organic: whole milk yogurt, half-n-half, lightly sweetened with organic cane sugar and vanilla. Extras that come served separately include: raisins, almonds and shredded roasted coconut (no added sugar).
