Savor the taste of Senegal with this niébé (black-eyed pea) ragout called Ndambé. It is a popular and traditional dish cooked in a flavorful tomato sauce. Paired with a portion of fresh French baguette on the side.
Ingredients: black-eyed peas, lemon, sweet potato, tomato, onions, shallots, garlic, scallions, parsley, kombu, olive and/or avocado oil, black pepper & salt
Serving option: slice the baguette down the middle and fill it with the Ndambé, as is traditionally done in Senegal.
